Thinking about getting the new iPhone 3G yet? Perhaps you should read this article first, as posted today by the New York Times.
Apparently Apple and ATT were not “iReady” for the bugs encountered on the day of the new iPhone launch.
A spokesman for AT&T, the exclusive carrier for the iPhone in the U.S., said
there was a global problem with Apple’s iTunes servers that prevented the phones from being fully activated in-store, as had been planned.”
This left many a users out in the cold without a fully functioning shiny new iPhone. You’ve been warned!
