Back in February, I was the proud winner of 2nd place in the inaugural Affiliate Road Rally, held at Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas. As a result, the Share Results team won a free pass to Affiliate Summit East in Boston, and of course, we signed up to enter the road rally again.

So with high expectations and maybe a teensy bit of arrogance, we traded in our winning mini-van for a bigger, brighter, more macho Hummer.  Sadly, bigger doesn’t always mean better, and after extensive “practicing” (playing outside along the harbour, our baby could do jumps!) the Hummer’s not so efficient battery died right before the big race. Luckily it had enough juice to make is past the starting line, but although a valiant effort was made, ‘Lil Wheezy’ (named by Maranda) didn’t make it much further than that.

We still came in third place and losing to Share-a-Sale didn’t feel so bad after we had enjoyed ourselves so much at their boat party the night before. )

Thanks to everyone who came out to watch, and we hope that the entrants contributions to The League make a difference.

And don’t worry, our mini-van will be back for glory in Vegas next January!!
